What's New with Twins and Teaching

Here in Western NY, we start school on September 1st so Chris just finished summer school where he taught Culinary Arts in a school for troubled teens. They did a food truck event for the community and it was a lot of prep but it was a success! They served:

  • Pulled pork sandwiches with coleslaw, Carolina BBQ sauce and crushed pork rinds.

  • Chicken or Vegetable Quesadillas with elote (Mexican street corn) with a Buffalo twist by adding Frank's Hot Sauce and parmesan cheese.

What's your favorite type of food truck? Teaching about food trucks has become very popular and is fun for the kids.

We made a food trucks lesson that helps to introduce the history, the types of food trucks and has a food truck activity and questions included.
